"The president of the SFWA (the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers
Association, which administers the Nebula Awards) resigned a couple
weeks due to family related issues. The VP just stepped down as well,
also for family reasons. The resignation letters reference internal
issues at the SFWA (although they seem to be independent from the
resignations), but not any details, and there didn't seem to be much
information when the president resigned on what was going on."

"If anyone's interested, File 770 has a post from a couple days ago
explaining the internal issues:"

Sad. When SFWA was unable to help Alan Dean Foster get his payments
from Disney for his Star Wars books (and other people too), I knew that
something was wrong with SFWA.
