No worries =) Your suspicions are not unfounded: I started
with the same, its just well, terrible IMO, the BASIC is
readable but the more or less the same.

Mainly just wanted the instructions the gist link had.
At this point I've studied PHP, javascript, python, etc.
My AWK implementation is starting to tighten up considerably.

Read/study from those that shared & paying it forward - its all good.
