That makes you fairly pedantic about vocabulary. If a person shoots a semi-automatic as fast as he can pull the trigger, that is a "burst" of shots, practically speaking. That's how it would be accurately described, even if that "burst" didn't happen with one trigger pull. It would have much the same effect on (say) a deer being hunted; or a cop being shot at; or a room full of school kids. And you've _still_ never explained the practical societal benefit of that capability in civilian hands. -- - Frank Krygowski
