If someone asks me 'Where are you from?", my response is 'How much time
do you have?'.

I lived in 3 places in the US before I was 7, then moved to Europe,
spending years in each of Sweden, the UK, Denmark, Belgium, and
Switzerland before returning to the US at 21. Most of that time was
spent boarding at a 'public school' in the UK, followed by the
University of London.

So, yes, my UK time outstrips everything else, but I twice had to
get extra pages added to my passport.
