That's a good summary of your attitude. Using this argument with compiler writers will get you precisely nowhere, but you already have experience with that. Now for a challenge: Try to specify the behavior of any piece of undefined behavior whose treatment by compilers you object to in a way that a compiler writer can follow it. Think that it could be published as an annex to the standard. What could this be?
