Oops. I was just reminded in a Telegram channel that Fath 360 is not an
air defense system. So I went back to the two paragraphs of persian
description of them I read last week on the web, when news said Iran
will deliver them to Russia, and found out writer didn't word it
correctly (must not have had Persian as mother tongue). These Fath 360s
aren't "anti aircraft" but anti-anti aircraft. Their primary design and
use is for destroying enemy's anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems on
the ground. They're their most prized targets. Russians are getting them
to weaken all sorts of enemy's air and missile defenses, not to shoot
down enemy aircraft.

Fath 360 does travel twice as fast as F-16 and F-35s. But it is not an
anti aircraft weapon. It avoids enemy anti-missile systems and hits
their anti aircraft systems. That lousy Persian paragraph threw my
totally off.

And as I said in my previous post, they have features in them that
change the battle to a great degree in favor of the side using them.
Mainly for very low price and therefore quantity of them used.

And the reason F-16s and F-35s of Israel do not dare getting inside Iran
must be Iran's short, medium, and long range anti aircraft systems some
of which they originally copied from Russian S300 systems. Kamins and
Mersads and Raads for shorter to medium range, and the Sayyads and
equivalents of S200, S300, and S400s for long range.
