I'm not worried about cost. I can afford whatever I want.

But this was not expensive for me. My LBS had the dynohub, new-old-stock 
(VERY old) so I got it cheap. I built the wheel myself, using a rim I 
had from when I converted my touring bike from 27" to 700c. Even the 
LEDs for the headlight and taillight were given to me by an  enginer 
friend who works for a company that produces LED-based products.

Besides all that, I've got a drawer full of bike dynamos. People have 
given many to me. It's a weird hobby I have.
