Speaking of CG height, I've been very pleased at how the EV handles 
curves. On the nearby freeway exit ramp, it feels better at higher speed 
than the previous Mazda 3, which was no slouch and had a much lower 
roofline. I suspect the big heavy battery below the floor pan lowers the 
EV's CG and reduces body roll.
