An interesting topic, if one digs deeper.

When inflation comes, generally there are winners (government entities
collecting tax revenue), and losers (consumers).  House flippers and
property owners can win big...etc.

US businesses doing overseas sales do much better when the dollar
sinks.

I've never taken the time to dig thru this topic, but there are
governments who intentionally create deficits, for one reason or
another.

Current inflation US is experiencing is due to Trump's deficits, but
most voters can't sort the chaff from the wheat here.  And he wants to
do it again, and reward the rich/corporate folks.
