Right. Consider a "highwayman" or mugger situation. The victim is walking or riding along, thinking about getting home to watch Oprah or Judge Judy. The "highwayman" is lurking hidden, with his gun out and ready, when he says "Stick 'em up!" The victim is very unlikely to be able to pull off a quick draw and defense shot. Yes, I know there are quick draw artists. But even practicing to get enough real skill to use against such a mugging (as opposed to play acting or contests) seems to indicate some mental weirdness. -- - Frank Krygowski
