Tom, YOU were the one who brought up the subject of Abbott. You made the 
nonsense claim that because you didn't see cars one day, the company is 
leaving California and/or failing. But you provided no evidence of that, 
other than your bike ride.

As I seem to have to remind certain people weekly, this is a 
_discussion_ group. If you don't think people should discuss something, 
you should not post about it.

As for Jeff's motivation, he's said repeatedly that he posts to 
demonstrate and sometimes correct your many mistakes. If you don't want 
him to do that, consider stopping your mistakes. Or stop posting about them.
