If you have CO coming out of your stack then you have a problem.  CO is 
a sign of incomplete combustion, a dangerous and potentially explosive 
condition.

Somebody here came up with a paper calculating the excess heat of the 
earth caused by humans for the next three centuries using the powers 
law.  Now that might happen.
