Alex Bellos includes three similar, coin-moving, puzzles in his book "Can 
You solve My Problems". They are puzzles 76, 77 and 78.

77 Triangle to Line

"Can you go from the triangle to the line in seven moves? As above, each 
move consists of sliding a coin to a position in which it touches two 
other coins. you cannot lift a coin off the table or use one coin to push 
another".
