participate in discussions, fostering a sense of community based on
common interests,and breaking the constraints of physical proximity.
While it doesn’t provide real-time interaction, Usenet's threaded
discussions match the authors' concept of creative and interactive
communication, where dynamic collaboration leads to new ideas. Hence,
we can say that Usenet laid the foundation for distributed intellectual
resources and  communities, embodying the potential of computers to
