Getting a tiny text file on a slow Alpha emulator gives 5 req/sec. Which is damn good compared to the 22 req/sec on 4 VCPU x86-64. But then it is probably not a CPU issue. I suspect that performance on that slow Alpha emulator would be bad doing something more CPU intensive (like actually running PHP). The interesting number comparison is: Apache: 5 req/sec OSU: 100 req/sec Arne
