I wasn't aware that Milei has swung from a right wing Trump-loving 
anarcho-capitalist strongman into being a lefty socialist!

It will take work & time to see what he can do.

Armenia is another region that's in trouble: they want to be EU/Western 
aligned, but geopolitically Khachaturyan is forced to placate Putin to 
not be invaded directly, or be undermined by Turkish & Azeri players.

Its similar to Belarus, where self-determination wishes have to be kept 
quiet against what Russia would do in response; the near term compromise 
is to play as a Putin puppet to maintain some degree of local autonomy. 
Georgia is another complicated mess, where they're also laying low to 
try to avoid being invaded by Russia again.  Of course, the common 
thread to all of these is Russia as the proximate bullying neighbor.
