Honestly, I don't entirely get what Prime Day is. Some sort of yearly
sale, I suppose. E.g., a manufactured attempt by Amazon to get you to
spend more on Amazon than you normally would. Meh.

But it means more free (if you don't mind the yearly subscription
price) games, so here we are again.

Note that the games here are ONLY free on Prime Day, so collect 'em
now or lose out entirely.

     it in your library already. But it's back for 24 hours 
     if you missed it the first time]. 
    Probably my favorite of the rebooted rebooted Tomb 
    Raider games, if only because so much of it is set 
    in snowy climes (what can I say, I like winter and 
    mountains!). It's got a nice mix of open-world and 
    linear levels, and the platforming is fun. A great 
    game? No, but fun.

     it in your library already. But it's back for 24 hours

    Hack-n-slash-n-bleed all over your enemies! It's a 
    reasonably good online first-person melee game, and I'd 
    appreciate it more if I liked first-person melee. It 
    just never seems convincing to me. But this is probably 
    one of the better ones of its breed available.


// Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (via Epic)
    I haven't played this one. I'm not a big fan of DC 
    Comic superheroes, dislike the Suicide Squad in 
    particular, and found the Rocksteady Batman games 
    increasingly tedious. This one supposedly has a fairly 
    strong story but is a bit of a grindy loot-fest. The 
    general opinion is that -if you like the Batman Arkham 
    games- you'll probably like this one too, but it's not 
    worth paying for. Fortunately, it's free here!




Not too bad a selection, even if I already have two of 'em and the
third isn't to my taste. I still don't recommend Amazon Prime for the
games (or in general; fuck Bezos ;-) but if you DO have the service,
might as well take full advantage of it. Log on today and get these
games before they're gone!
