It's not independent media and dissent that he's objecting to but the 
kind of lying propaganda that you make a habit of posting here.

Free speech doesn't extend to shouting "fire" in a crowded theatre, and 
the kind of climate change denial propaganda that you tout is no less 
dangerous, though it will take longer to create a lethal disaster.

American right-wing politics has weaponised lying propaganda.

Trump's non-stop lying is more a personality defect, but he does fit 
well with the deceitful right-wing tradition.

There is another right-wing tradition of disinterested probity, but it 
doesn't seem to win elections today.
