Hey, they had to do everything they could to salvage the Muslim vote 
which used to be reliably Democratic. (I've seen articles that say the 
Muslims, at least in the Detroit area, are far from satisfied and have 
said they will stay home rather than voting for Harris so it doesn't 
look like the Dems are going to get much for all their efforts to pander 
to Muslims, aside from turning a lot of former Democrat-supporting Jews 
into new Republicans.)
