The above statement is easily disproved by looking at sales figures of Walmart and Walmart's sourcing most of their products from China and other countries that produce cheap items just for export to the US. Retail business that specialize in quality products have been having a hard time staying in business over the past 40 years. By far, most people in the US calls these places "to expensive to shop at".
