I don't think you even know what a mapping is? Let alone a conformal map? We can take a number, say a natural number for arguments sake... Map it to another number, then apply a "reversed" map and get back to the original. An easy way to think about this is: 1*2 = 2 2/2 = 1 See? We mapped to another natural, and back again to the original. Nothing is lost! Actually, every map in this scenario is mapping to a natural number that was already there. See?
