I thought I could do their homework for them so at least once a week, every Friday, I review a book by a different POC. No repeats* so if WFC finds itself short on ideas, they can just skim down the list of authors in that particular category. Because I read a lot of manga, in practice there are a lot of POC authors in that category as well. I think the last set of stats I have for how my numbers compare to the median reviewer, I reviewed books in general at about 45x the pace, books by women at... a hundred times? I think, and books by POC at a pace about two hundred times. The median reviewer doesn't review a lot of books and only reviews a book by a POC once every two years or so so it hard not to have numbers that greatly exceed them. * In a calendar year. There are authors like de Bodard and Mohamed who are prolific. Generally, the first book by them reviewed in a calendar year goes under WFC and the rest under other, suitable, categories. -- My reviews can be found at http://jamesdavisnicoll.com/ My tor pieces at https://www.tor.com/author/james-davis-nicoll/ My Dreamwidth at https://james-davis-nicoll.dreamwidth.org/ My patreon is at https://www.patreon.com/jamesdnicoll
