I don't know whether > that's true or not, but that's something I've heard here numerous times. Well, I wasn't talking about Google vs Apple in terms of innovation. Android kicks Apple's ass in almost every way you can possibly think of. But that wasn't what I was trying to explain... What I was explaining is the hypothesis that the Apple zealots who frequent these Apple newsgroups have nothing to tout about Apple products anymore. They used to love when Android sucks and the iPhone didn't suck. That fueled their egos like you can't believe. Because of the kind of people these zealots are. They're all about attacking. They're about us versus them (much like MAGA people are, in fact). That "us versus them" mentality they all have means they shifted from touting how great they thought Apple was, to how lousy they think we are. They literallyl have *nothing* to say about Apple products that they love. Nothing. Yet, they're exclusively a divisive culture that thrives on "us vs them". So what they've morphed to is entire threads from Alan Browne of his *BIG IDEA* of how they need to cancel out the people who post the truth. Does this make sense? a. Most of the posters here thrive on an "us vs them" b. Which used to feed their egos when Apple was actually better c. But now, with Apple being moribund, they have nothing to tout. They can't do the "us vs them" on AI for example. Nor 5G. Nor even automatic call recording. Or camera output. Nothing. (Well, Apple developers sure can make emojis & new colors!) The fact Apple isn't better anymore means they have nothing to tout. So they attack us. Because they only post in an "us versus them" divisive nature. -- (Much like MAGA, by the way - where the zealots are a perfect fit.)
