I.e., can imagine exactly what the CPU will be doing (ignoring the fact that the compiler will often out-think the coder in terms of time/space efficiency). With C++, there is just too much "magic" happening "between the lines"... i.e., where there is no VISIBLE code executing. Sadly, there are parts of C++ that would make good additions to C -- but, not with all the extra baggage that gets dragged in. [EC++ doesn't add anything *truly* worthwhile]
