They are very different from, say Spanish ones.

Fun fact: the “Blue Note” that you hear in Blues music originated from the 
Touareg people. They were part of the chain of slave traders that 
trafficked their victims from Africa to Europe and the New World. 
Naturally the slaves they handled picked up a few things from them along 
the way ...
