I went to a meeting in Badacsony and was surprised to learn that the organizer, a distinguished scientist that I admire, was a supporter of Orbán. However, that was in 2013; maybe he's changed his views since. Another Hungarian scientist that I know is very conservative and anti-communist in her opinions. However, I haven't seen her since 1999, and I don't know what she thinks of Orbán. On the other hand, the late Tamás Keleti and his wife were possibly the last sincere communists left in Hungary. -- Athel -- French and British, living in Marseilles for 37 years; mainly in England until 1987.
