I’m fine with whatever they add or change at the very end to hint at season
6b and show the regeneration to Pertwee, and if they explicitly show a
woman or a black man among the “change of appearance” options that’s fine
too.

My main concern is that whereas with most 60s stories 90 minutes is plenty
of time to tell the whole story without missing any of the good bits - I’m
not so sure that’s the case with The War Games (having rewatched it only a
couple of weeks ago - currently at “Terror of the Autons” in my marathon
watch-through).

Nevertheless, possibly a lovely Christmas present. Looking forward to it.
