Like self-driving cars, AI is just over-hyped, useless, unreliable crap, and it will be for a long long long time yet and it will probably never really work properly. We had "smart" tech, which was really as dumb as dog poo and less useful. Now we've got the equally pointless AI as the latest idiotic fad tech companies add to everyone because they can no longer come up with anything actually new and useful to get customers to buy.
