Yes some might but then they have proven themselves to be somewhat dodgy 
to say the least.

I don't think his "Church" is behind these rants, I think he attends 
just to make mummy happy (and provide a ride).  I suspect he is one of 
those members who other avoid when possible and assign him made up work 
to help him feel important.  I seem to recall him saying he was a 
"Watchman", keeping an eye out for the second coming.

In the fundamentalist world they don't want you to learn, just accept 
whatever dogma they push at you.  Thinking for yourself is a no-no.

My son was ostracized from a fundamentalist youth group because he 
actually asked real questions. (He only went because his girlfriend at 
the time dragged him there).
