He's done a hell of a lot more than Trump has/will.

But what would you propose other than financial aid and strategic 
advice, sending US troops to Ukraine?

If you think somebody like Putin is going to be bowled over by the 
magnificence of The Orange Messiah just because you are and start 
playing nice you're goofy. He's going to play Trump like a cheap fiddle 
like all those other despots around the world did.
