  Good point! My old phones were Android 4/5, which didn't have
adoptable storage, and my current phone has ample storage (128GB), so
I've never tried it, but according to his referenced specs, the OP's
phone has Android 8.1 (Oreo), so he should have adoptable storage
functionality and could try it.
