Then the retrievers...retrieve them. I am not sure how they get killed,. Retrievers have very soft mouths and do not damage them. The ones then end up with breasts full of bird shot are the ones I used to get given. Ugly colored bruising and not too appetising. Pheasant vinadaloo however is very nice indeed.
