Do you take the word of some random Facebook/Xwitter loony (or local politician who believes them) over somebody who has made a career out of studying the cause and treatment of diseases? Do you find it easier to respond to someone who pushes your buttons, rather than someone who tries to give you accurate explanations that you cannot be bothered to expend the mental effort to try to understand?
