IOW: "Nothing can be known. All is mystery. Ommmmmm..."

Some of the oh-so-independent-minded folks posting here claim total
skepticism of anything emanating from the government, including all
scientific or economic data. But it seems to me that's often just a way
to maintain cherished beliefs despite all evidence.

"COVID was no worse than a seasonal flu."

"Sadaam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction ready to attack the U.S."

"The stock market tanked during the Obama administration."

"Nothing can make riding a bike among cars safe."
