I've always enjoyed the Discover selection so Google does a good job picking stuff for me. I also read other aggregators like Flipboard, Yahoo News, Slashdot, The Register, and Smartnews. With my Chrome stuff I use a read only extension to get rid of the ads, popups and moving stuff. Likewise the Reading mode app on my Android stuff...
