People reacted as he expected and drooled (figuratively) over the "bad boy". I was amused - in a rueful way - when I saw that the picture was of Stalin as a young revolutionary (and organizer of bank robberies). Here's the picture (it's the one from 1899): https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/articles/zhv747h As far as we know so far, Luigi Mangione has only killed one person. Stalin is believed by many historians to be responsible for the deaths of 25 million of his own people (not counting WW II); some historians reckon him to be responsible for upwards of 60 million people. But people continue to respond to looks on a visceral level regardless of who the person is or what he or she has done. What can you do? -- Rhino
