Iran's leader in his speech today hinted on that same matter. He thinks 
as a result of changes in Syria resistance against Nazis will increase, 
not decrease. He even said he "promises" that :)

Any sane mind can see that. A dictator is an automatic limitation placed 
on a country. A rebel-led country has fewer limitations. It can do more 
things for its advantage.
