The point about the Christian story is not that it is real, but that we profoundly might wish it had been, and if we pretend that it was, then the world becomes at some levels a better place. -- There is nothing a fleet of dispatchable nuclear power plants cannot do that cannot be done worse and more expensively and with higher carbon emissions and more adverse environmental impact by adding intermittent renewable energy.
