MAXXXINE (on Max, where else?) completes writer-director Ti West's indie horror trilogy, and it's the weakest of the three. Each one stars perpetually pouting Mia Goth (who's actually a Londoner), and this finale is a bigger production, with a name supporting cast. But the upgrade dispels the intimacy that horror needs. Only modestly recommended.
