Oh yes. After I discarded rational materialism I went looking at all the other 'models of reality'. Religions , cults, conspiracy theories and the like. Some grains in there that are interesting, but mostly dross. Numerology is interesting. The *quality* of numbers, not their quantity. In the classic Jewish system, it all starts with nothing (0), and then there is something (1) Adding a second dimension gives the idea of distance (2) , and cubic space is (3), whereas time is (4). All done with 'emanations'. Broadly speaking, emergent properties... The Jewish Kabbalistic system is actually the sort of mental maps that became science.
