watching welcome one and all to this
latest and newest video I'm your host
the report of the week thank you for
checking in so diverting from a direct
review hence the uh little bit different
introduction today this is I think going
to become a bit of a yearly tradition I
began this last year it was very well
received and I thought what the heck
let's just do it again with 2024 now
drawing to a close and it's crazy how
time flies I decided to take a look back
at the reviews that I've done over the
last year and see what were the five
worst fast food releases of
2024 so needless to say after checking
out a lot of reviews and uh there were a
lot of bad ones out there too I need to
emphasize that I finally narrowed it
down and I have the five worst fast food
releases of 2024 all lined up so let's take a look
back and starting things off we go back
to the beginning of 2024 with 

Pizza Hut's cheeseburger melt at number five I
mean I just have a good feeling about
this Pizza Hut they've released their
new cheeseburger melt because obviously
we know that a pizza place that makes
fast food pizza makes the best burgers
too we we obviously know that features
parmesan crust it then contains beef Applewood smoked
bacon onions mozzarella and cheddar
cheese and then burger sauce cuz you
can't have a a burger without that of
course and it is available for the price of
$8 fake to it a little oily on the bottom
I had a burger yesterday a real Burger I actually went
over to Five Guys and uh got a bacon
burger from them which was solid and I was thinking back to even
just what I ate yesterday and I cannot come
up with even one reason one reason
whatsoever as to why I or really anyone
else for that matter should choose this
thing from Pizza Hut over a burger from
anywhere not just five guys but anywhere
even McDonald's Burger King
Wendy's the cheese is just sort of
slightly undercooked as well the beef
especially anemic water watery something
just tastes wrong about it the onions
are raw and slimy out of 10 therefore I
mean I'm going to have to give the
cheeseburger melt what the only good
thing to say is that the little bacon
pieces are sort of
inoffensive and that the sauce covers up
all the horrible flavors otherwise I
can't see how I can give this anything
higher than a 2 out of
10 yeah scoring only a 2 out of 10 on
the scale that was certainly a bad
release this next release also scored a
2 out of 10 but I was thinking about it

I think that this next one was
definitely worse than the cheeseburger
Melt from Pizza Hut and it was uniquely
bad I will say the honey lemon pepper
wings from Popeyes what was so bad about
them you'll find out in a minute and
they've been promoting and promoting and
promoting These Wings release after release after
release and no one cares absolutely no one
in any capacity cares one single bit
they have released their new honey lemon
pepper wings and uh the name is pretty
self-explanatory it has a lemon pepper
sauce with a little bit of sweetness a
tiny bit of little black pepper spice
and then that zest from the uh lemon as
well I will say they they are pretty
decent size at least and I could really
smell the honey there the honey and the the lemon as well not
much the pepper but I could smell the
honey and the and the lemon as I was eating this I was
thinking to myself I was just sitting here I was
thinking to myself you know there's
there's no other way to put this
but the first thought that I had when I
took a bite immediately I thought there's a big problem
here this tastes like a cough
drop and that might sound like something
weird but I'll get into a little bit of a a brief
anecdote there were times when I would
be feeling under the weather and uh
there were these cough drops that I
would get and I think they still make
them I'm not sure the brand maybe it's
Rola or something like that where the
cough drop has this sort of of uh lemon
type flavor maybe that's intentional
maybe it's not and then in the center of
it there's like this little bit of a
honey just to try to make it you know
more um more sort of bearable and
tolerable this has the same flavor profile is
that these aren't good avoid them in my
opinion take the $8 and go buy something
else with it because this is a waste of
your money and uh don't don't bother with it
what am I going to be rating the new
honey lemon pepper wings from Popeyes
very disappointing these were way worse
than I ever thought they would
be I got to give him a two out of 10 I
might be incorrect with this but I think
that review was probably the first and
only time in the Channel's history that
I ended up comparing chicken wings to
cough drops but that's what they tasted
like and they were they were abysmally
bad in that regard definitely some of
the worst Wings I've ever had easily how
they managed to get them that way it's still I 

I remain perplexed next up on the list now at
number three is actually very recent as
a matter of fact it's the last video I
did before this one scoring a 1.5 out of
10 this one has burned fresh into my
memory this was absolutely disgusting
definitely worthy of the rating that it
got it's the mushroom bacon cheeseburger
from Wendy's this one was horrible it
was disgusting take a look comes with
beef comes with roasted mushrooms so
comes with bacon moer cheese and a garlic
spread I don't understand how this got
on the the notepad that's a first
yeah this is one of those reviews after
the even after the first bite I already
I already know where this is going I like the
um I like the hair that I found in this
too that's that's that's just great you
can sort of see the hair hanging there
it's baked in for extra flavor of course then come the two main
ingredients which were most disappointing all right number one the
roasted mushrooms like I said they're
obviously very low quality um you know
it's just the the texture and the
quality and the flavor of them there's
nothing good about uh they're just slimy
They Don't Really smell that great
either and then you have this garlic
spread which uh just isn't that good either it's
more it has a garlic note to it but it's more watery 
than anything else as soon as I took that first bite I
just wasn't really motivated to take a
