I glossed over the schematic, wondering if the SCART connector was just something "not populated" in US offerings. There's no sign of it. Of course, the signals that could eventually find their way to it are available. And, as most VCRs are built from a shitload of PCBs, its not unlikely that there is ONE board that is changed to add/drop that support. Or not.
