They key is to eliminate all writes to the SD card apart from unavoidable config changes. Stop logging or send it to a ram disk. If you need scratch files put those on ramdisk too. I've got a full record somewhere of everything I did to turn off logging or redirect it to a ram log If you can adjust your mindset to think of the SD card as EPROM, not a disk, it helps -- In todays liberal progressive conflict-free education system, everyone gets full Marx.
