Another morning meeting. Again, I didn't really prioritize "watching
stuff". But did get through soaps and more "Rings of Power":
soaps: Y&R - Tue's ep. Nick shares his "It's all Ian Ward and an
accomplice" theory with Chance and Summer. Jordan says that she has had
it with Ian Ward, and their partnership is through! - Jordan then
reveals herself to dumb Claire. Adam again pitches getting back together
to Chelsea who wants none of it.
GH - Wed's ep. Lizzie and Lucky intend to surveil Cyrus, but Cyrus
gets hauled in for questioning by Anna, thanks to Josslyn, but then
Josslyn confronts Cyrus and blows it. Carly begs John Brennan for access
to an international burn unit. Sonny and then Jason go to Tracy to try
to retrieve the children, but Tracy gets to Jason and they fail. Alexis
tries to work Drew over to get custody of Scout from him. The football
game goes wrong, worrying Trina, and destroying Cody's chance of winning
his bet.
The Rings of Power (Prime) - Ep's #2.5 & 2.6. This seems to be going
somewhere this season, but I still have a lot of reservations...
Sauron messes with the heads of the ring crafters, esp. Celebrimbor.
Meanwhile, Durin is convinced that the dwarvish ring for his father is
corrupting him (it is!!), though it did help the king restore light to
the city. (The other 6 dwarvish rings haven't even been distributed
yet...) Not much progress with "The Stranger", who was set up to find
his staff before rescuing the halflings. Adar and Galadriel try to forge
a deal/partnership with each other, but Galadriel figures out that this
is just what Sauron wants - Adar doesn't listen to her. More Numenor
stuff which isn't worth retelling. Elrond basically wasn't in these
episodes, for some reason.
Just two more episodes to go, and then on to "On Call".
I also saw some of "The Running Man" on one of the Showtimes yesterday -
I had clearly forgotten about the beginning of this film!
What did you watch?
