It is beyond disturbing that books like this were accepted, adopted, and 
recommended by people who really should have known better. The fact 
that, once revealed, these books aren't recalled and denounced - or at 
least clearly labelled as wishful thinking rather than factual - is even 
MORE appalling.

I can see how some bureaucrat in the education system can be unaware of 
some book of lies making it into a school library or curriculum but the 
idea that these books are kept in the library or curriculum after their 
blatant falsehoods are revealed is a truly despicable thing. It 
undermines the very notion of truth itself.

Some things in this world are a matter of opinion and they allow us have 
different thoughts about those things: a colour or hairstyle or 
political system that you find lovely may be hideous to me and neither 
of us is "wrong" because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But doing 
DNA tests that prove Cheddar Man was white and then insisting that he 
was black is NOT a matter of opinion, it's flat out lying. Ditto for all 
the other nonsense claims about black Vikings, Allah-worshipping kings 
in Europe, high-tech cities in Africa and the rest of the nonsense cited 
in this post.

This crap needs to be fought - and fought hard - not to put down blacks 
(or Muslims) but to preserve truth itself. The people who hired the 
bureaucrats/ideologists who wrote or approved these flagrant lies need 
to fire them and be fired themselves if they knew the material was false 
but okayed it anyway. Since citizens don't have any way to accomplish 
these firings themselves, they need to confront the politicians that set 
or approved these policies and "un-elect" them if they give any sign of 
having hired these people or implemented these policies knowingly.
