Nevada court rules policr mst follow state law, not federal asset
forfeiture agreements, when seizing cash without probable cause.

A veteran was passing through Nevada to visit his daughter. Cops see he
has cash, which turns out to be his life's savings. They do not write
traffic ticket for bogus reason they made traffic stop. They give the
monies to DEA which returns 80% to the police.

Police claim they've found a loophole and do not have to obey state law
but court rules against them.
