- Today my day was made by an abundance of new opportunities for fun and
work both come about by the advent of super powerful AI engines, some of
which are available to public as well. DeepSeek made a sensation last
week but that's not the only one available to public.

I think it is about time to make a rather comprehensive list of AI's
being worked on around the world.

Here is a list of 20 or so of them in addition to DeepSeek as of today:

1. Alibaba Cloud

Qwen : A large language model developed by Alibaba Cloud, capable of
answering questions, generating text, coding, and more.

Tongyi Lab Models : Other models under the Tongyi series, such as Tongyi
Wanxiang (for image generation) and Tongyi Tingwu (for audio processing).

2. OpenAI

GPT-4 : The latest version of OpenAI's Generative Pre-trained
Transformer, widely used in applications like ChatGPT.

ChatGPT : A conversational AI model based on GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, designed
for interactive dialogue.

GPT-3.5 : The predecessor to GPT-4, still widely used in various
applications.

3. Google

Gemini : Google's latest multimodal AI model, capable of handling text,
images, and other forms of data.

Bard : Google's conversational AI service, now integrated into Gemini.

PaLM 2 : A large language model that powers many of Google's AI
services, including Bard.

4. Microsoft

Copilot : Microsoft's AI assistant, powered by GPT-4, integrated into
products like Bing, Office, and GitHub.

Bing Chat : Microsoft's AI-powered search engine with conversational
capabilities, also based on GPT-4.

5. Meta

Llama 2 : An open-source large language model developed by Meta,
available for research and commercial use.

Llama 3 : The latest iteration of Meta's Llama series, offering improved
performance and capabilities.

BlenderBot : Meta's earlier conversational AI model, though less
prominent now compared to Llama.

6. Anthropic

Claude 2 : A large language model developed by Anthropic, known for its
strong reasoning and safety features.

Claude Instant : A faster, lighter version of Claude, optimized for
quick responses.

7. Baidu

Wenxin Yiyan : Baidu's large language model, capable of generating text,
answering questions, and more.

ERNIE : Baidu's earlier series of language models, which laid the
foundation for Wenxin Yiyan.

8. Tencent

HunYuan : A series of large-scale AI models developed by Tencent,
including text, image, and multi-modal models.

9. Huawei

Pangu : Huawei's series of large AI models, including Pangu-NLP (for
natural language processing) and Pangu-CV (for computer vision).

10. Amazon

Amazon Bedrock : A platform that provides access to various large
language models, including those from third-party providers like
Anthropic and AI21 Labs.

Titan : Amazon's own family of large language models, available through
Bedrock.

11. IBM

Watsonx : IBM's AI platform that includes large language models and
tools for building AI applications.

12. NVIDIA

Nemotron : NVIDIA's series of large language models, often used for
training and inference in AI applications.

NeMo : A framework for building and deploying custom language models.

13. Salesforce

Einstein GPT : Salesforce's AI model tailored for customer relationship
management (CRM) and business applications.

14. Hugging Face

Transformers : While not a single model, Hugging Face offers a wide
range of pre-trained models, including BERT , T5 , GPT-Neo , and Falcon.

15. Cohere

Command : Cohere's flagship language model, designed for tasks like
summarization, content generation, and question-answering.

16. DeepMind

Chinchilla : A large language model developed by DeepMind, known for its
efficiency and performance.

Sparrow : Another model from DeepMind, focused on safe and ethical
conversational AI.

17. Character.AI

Character.AI : A platform that allows users to create and interact with
AI characters, powered by custom language models.

18. Inflection AI

Pi : A personal AI assistant developed by Inflection AI, designed for
conversational interactions.

19. Stability AI

StableLM : A series of open-source language models developed by
Stability AI, known for their efficiency and accessibility.

20. Mistral AI

Mistral : A series of large language models developed by Mistral AI,
known for their performance and scalability.

Other Notable Models and Platforms:

Falcon (by Technology Innovation Institute): A series of open-source
large language models.

RWKV : A novel architecture for language models that combines the
benefits of RNNs and transformers.
