Mama's kitchen had a unique design, you could see into the kitchen. To
the left were 2 grills, one gas likely as you could see flames
sometimes. then a smooth-top sort (eggs, hashbrowns etc.). To the
right big pots and under it ovens plus sinks and such along the back
and then a door to a walk in fridge or freezer. More around a corner
you couldn't see.

A lot of old diners were like it with cook's back to you if you sat at
the counter. You could watch the cook do their thing. My last trip to
Pensacola had us eating breakfast at one like that. Nice little place!
