The same with modern turntables, £30 or more for a single album. Ridiculous! And guess what's used to master them? CDs! > they are way over-priced... so people should make their own, or > just recondition an old one even. Same with cassette decks. Over £400 for a basic cassette player which doesn't even let you record in Dolby B, C, or S, and doesn't even record on Metal tape, maybe not even Chrome. And then there's VHS. The BBC have still not replaced all of my Doctor Who VHS tapes which I paid good money for the right to watch them. -- The True Doctor https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCngrZwoS0n21IRcXpKO79Lw "To be woke is to be uninformed which is exactly the opposite of what it stands for." -William Shatner
