I doubt Idris Elba demands appeasement but even if he did, can you imagine the reactions of Stringer Bell or Luthor? DEI would die around the two of them if real-life characters. I've said this before but Elba was such a good actor there was NEVER a hint of any London accent in playing Stringer. He's one of the few British actors who successfully portray Americans.
